Google Ads purchase tracking you can check per order.

Give Google Ads a more complete picture of what your store sells. Enrich eligible purchase measurements with available order data, with the amount, consent and dispatch status visible per order. A stronger foundation for getting more from your ad budget.

More complete purchase data, with a traceable route.

Enhanced Conversions when the data is available

Suitable customer identifiers, hashed before submission, can help Google Ads recognise a purchase. They need to be supplied through an appropriate order connection with the required consent. The public snippet does not provide this automatically.

Recover eligible missing purchase measurements

An order without an observed purchase measurement may qualify for server-side delivery when the required data and consent are available. This recovers a measurement; it does not create a new purchase or guarantee additional revenue.

Compare amounts and delivery status

Check the order amount and currency against the measurement data. A mismatch becomes visible for investigation. This does not promise automatic correction of every discrepancy in Google Ads.

Example: an order without an observed purchase measurement.

Fictional example: order EXAMPLE-205 for €129.00 exists in your store, but no matching purchase measurement was observed in the available browser data. The order source provides a securely supplied click reference and suitable prehashed customer identifiers. The required consent is recorded.

After validation, the order may qualify for delivery to Google Ads. Check the delivery status and API response separately. Accepted means the submission was accepted; it does not prove campaign attribution or that the revenue is additional.

From your order source to a verified conversion submission.

  1. Review your existing conversion setup

Identify the Google Ads conversion action and the tags or connections already sending purchases. Agree how order identification and duplicate submissions will be handled before enabling another route.

  2. Supply order data and suitable identifiers

Connect the order reference, timestamp, amount and currency. Arrange a securely supplied click reference and suitable prehashed customer identifiers separately. The public snippet does not automatically collect Google click IDs for dispatch.

  3. Follow an eligible order through the route

Check recorded consent, available fields and platform configuration. Then inspect delivery, errors and acceptance. Verify campaign attribution separately in Google Ads.

Requirements for a useful Google Ads connection.

  • You need access to the relevant Google Ads settings and a suitable order source. Availability and required changes vary by store and are discussed before setup.

  • Missing click references or customer identifiers are not invented. Server-side delivery does not restore denied or unknown consent.

  • Observed, enriched, sent, accepted and attributed describe different stages. A missing observation does not prove that a purchase was never measured elsewhere.

Questions about this connection.

Will Enhanced Conversions work as soon as I install the snippet?

Not automatically. Suitable prehashed customer identifiers must be available through your order setup. Consent, Google Ads configuration and the connection also need to be in place.

Can every missing Google Ads conversion be recovered?

No. The order must qualify, and the required data and consent must be available. First check what is missing from your available evidence and which other routes might already send the purchase.

Does an accepted submission appear as campaign revenue?

Not necessarily. API acceptance and campaign attribution are separate stages. Check processing and attribution in Google Ads; delivery status alone does not confirm additional revenue or a higher ROAS.
